I am a 4th-year Design Major at the University of California, Davis, with an emphasis in fashion. I have the skills to repair most clothing items, from hats to shoes. I have fixed holes, zippers, fallen buttons, bag closures, rips, and more. One thing I am proud of repairing was the soles of my shoes. I am also familiar with other crafty repairs, as I have a lot of interest in art. I want to learn specifically about car-related repairs, as I feel like they will be relevant throughout my whole life.

In my spare time, I enjoy anything music-related, fashion, graphic design, city life, architecture, interior design, and nature. This project will benefit me as my whole major is very hands-on and engages with repairs but also the creation of different things. I think it is important to know the breakdown of how things work and how to rebuild them if we also are encouraged to create.

Here is a photo of one of my projects I am most proud of. This entails a bag made out of ties and a button-up shirt. The tie handles are adjustable meaning it can be a handbag, crossbody bag, or even a tote. It is also reversible.

This is a photo of a parrot I made with a friend out of Legos. I recently have become interested in building Legos and realized how fun it can be! My favorites are specifically the ones you can take apart and rebuild into something else. This specific set could be a frog, a fish, or a parrot. I also built the frog beforehand.
