He/They

My name is Edwin Ruiz; currently, I am an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at California State University, Los Angeles.

A Graduate Student from James A. Garfield High School

During my childhood, I'd always question why things failed regarding toys, iPods, or DVD players. I wanted to learn why this was the case. One of my first experiences with electrical engineering was with Lego Robotics. My team and I developed code to determine where the robot would direct itself to. We won various competitions despite the hardships of my home life. From there and then I moved into building Computers in my adolescence; it was fascinating because you had to learn what each terminology meant in terms of where the power supply or where the GPU goes, and it really helped me delve more into the career I am choosing today.
