Hello! My name is Mara. I'm an undergraduate student at the University of California, Davis studying Design and Psychology. I am driven by creativity and have a profound interest in understanding human behavior. I want to explore how these two fields intersect, and the ways in which design lies in between a product, an environment, or an experience. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in UX/UI design or industrial design.
Repair Experience
My repair experience mostly includes items of apparel, such as jewelry, handbags, clothing, and shoe soles. I've also repaired broken ceramic vases.

I love making and crafting things, whether baked goods, stoneware mugs and bowls, or jewelry. One of my most recent creative outlets has been ceramic making! Both hand-building and wheel-throwing are tedious and lengthy processes, but the end results are always so worth it. Here are some pictures of some cups I've thrown, a bowl I made that was showcased in an art gallery, and a craft project of mine from a few months ago.
