Hello! My name is Anusheel Nand. I am a junior Computer Engineering major at University of California, Davis. I am an AvenueE scholar and a Cadence student ambassador. I have been passionate about working with computer hardware for as long as I can remember, leading to my choice of major. I hope to be able to work in the hardware industry after graduation, ideally in a design or verification role.

Skills:

I can program in C, C++, Python, and RISC-V Assembly. I also have a certification from Cadence in the Verilog HDL and its applications.

I have lab experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, DMMs, and breadboards.

Projects:

I designed a reduced instruction set processor using Verilog RTL schematics, verifying each significant module along the way through testbenches.

For my Digital Systems class, I developed a finite state machine representation of a dice game with stringent requirements.

Repair Experience:

I interned at a high school in Vallejo, California where I repaired damaged student devices.

I have built and helped repair several PCs. This includes everything from laptop motherboard replacements to full custom PC builds.

Hobbies:

In my free time, I love practicing digital and film photography. I also enjoy reading and playing video games.

Project Significance

This project will allow me to demonstrate the ability to produce concise and effective documentation. In industry, the technical output of an engineer is only as valuable as their documentation.
